PUBLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The thesis should contain a short summary of the research with its goals, research methods and results. Please do NOT include general or commonly known information.  

The text size is one-two pages of MS Word document (the illustrations, if necessary, are required in jpg or gif). The page parameters are as follows: А4 page with 2.5 сm all sides margin, Times New Roman-12 pt; 1.25 сm indent, single line spacing, and width alignment.

Files should be entitled as surname of the first author_session number (e.g. klimanov_1.doc).

INFLUENCE OF ORIENTATION MATRIX PARAMETERIZATION METHOD ON ORIENTATION PROBLEM SOLVING

Formulating and solving spacecraft orientation problem it is convenient to introduce the right-handed orthogonal coordinate system (trihedron) with a center in a given point, as a rule, in an object’s center of mass. The following methods of orientation matrix parameterization became a frequent practice in solving an orientation problem:

-  parameterization applying Krylow, Euler angles, etc.;

-   parameterization using quaternions.
